Resistive touch panels detect input when pressure causes two opposing electrode layers (ITO films) to make contact and conduct electricity. This proven technology is widely used in industrial applications such as bank ATMs and station ticket vending machines, where high reliability and consistent operation, including use with gloves, are essential.
