By simply mounting the touchscreen onto an LCD display, standard panels can be upgraded to full touchscreen functionality. When incorporated into development products, this enables the creation of high-quality, intuitive human–machine interfaces (HMIs).

When paired with a proprietary controller, the touchscreen can be precisely tuned to customer operating conditions—including reliable glove operation, resistance to environmental noise, and dependable performance in outdoor or harsh environments.

Smartphone-Like Gesture Operation with Resistive Technology

The LST Series is a 4-wire, light-load resistive touchscreen designed to deliver smooth, smartphone-like operation while retaining the inherent durability and environmental tolerance of resistive technology. Flick gestures and intuitive touch interactions are supported at a significantly lower cost than projected capacitive (PCAP) solutions.

KEY FEATURES

Light Touch, Smooth Operation

A specially engineered film material enables a light, smooth touch response comparable to electrostatic (PCAP) systems—while preserving the advantages of resistive technology. Flick input and other gesture-based operations are supported.

Anti-Glare or Clear Film Options

An anti-glare ITO film is standard to suppress reflections and improve visibility in bright environments. Clear film options are available by customization to maximize LCD image clarity.

High Environmental Reliability

The resistive structure ensures stable operation in electrically noisy environments and supports input via gloves or stylus. Performance is unaffected by moisture, making it well suited for industrial, outdoor, and public-use applications.
